The route incorporates sections of the Pennine Bridleway National Trail and the Delph Donkey Trail.
Before sampling the cafes and pubs of Uppermill, work up a thirst on Harrop Edge and Standedge. The route is accessible from Greenfield station.

The ride is considered to be suitable for most mountain bikers, with a couple of easier options if required.
This map uses public bridleways and bridleways which are also popular with horse riders and walkers and you must ride responsibly. When using the Trail by bike, please remember to give way to people on foot and horseback and when passing reduce your speed and warn people of your approach.
